Embossing and Indenting Card Printer Solutions:

The CE870 and CE840 was launched in 2014 and provides for never seen before quality desktop functionality. This range combines duplex colour printing with optional embossing and indent printing. These desktop printers can now be used for instant issuance of banking, loyalty or membership cards to name a few. This functionality has always been associated with backroom or centralised card printing with prolonged lead times and large capital outlay. Being part of the SD family, all the SD feature that come standard with the SD360 is automatically part of this solution. Datacard went one step further and created an option to select cards from multiple card input hoppers. This allows for printing multiple cards on the fly without changing the cards in the input hopper, allowing the data and software to select the correct card for the correct individual.
